22 Weeks

It's been a fun week, seeing the ultrasound and finding out that baby Crowson is a boy.
I was still able to wear some of my own tops, but that is not the case anymore. I am wearing all maternity clothes. I feel big now too, which is good.... I'm enjoying every minute of this. I feel great and even have a little more energy than I've had.

I had someone ask about cravings- still nothing too weird--- Bacon is still a favorite, I love pudding and I eat a 1/2 of grapefruit every morning.

The baby's room is all taped and ready for painting next weekend. I'm really looking forward to a girls painting weekend with my mom and aunt!

Here are some pictures of me at 22 weeks. Wrigley wanted her picture taken too. She got a hair cut on Thursday and wanted everyone to see how pretty she is!

First Glimpse

Here's a first look at baby BOY Crowson!!! Everything looks good, he is measuring big right now, which is fine. He's 1 pound 5 ounces right now. I have another ultrasound scheduled for 6 weeks and we'll take another look just to make sure everything is on track, or if we need to bump up the due date or something. Right now, Adam and I and baby are all doing well!

I know the ultrasounds are hard to see, but there he is. The first picture is of me getting the ultrasound, and you can see the baby's head on the screen! The second picture is his spine and head (70th percentile for head... oh goodie!) , the third picture is of his little foot in the left hand corner- you can see his toes! and the last picture is pointing out his little boy parts! (he'll love me for posting that when he gets older).

We do not have names yet. We had a girls name, but have not come up with a boys name.. so that is still yet to be determined!

Big Week

This is the week for the Ultrasound!!! Wednesday morning we'll go in and get a peek at the baby! We are going to find out what we're having, because anyone who knows Adam and I, know that we (well, me in particular) are not good at surprises. So, because of that, Wednesday we'll know the sex of the baby!!!

Adam has officially now finished our little house arranging project with the mounting of the speakers. He did a great job, and learned a lesson in the importance of using a stud finder :)

I started to tape the baby's room to get it ready for painting.

As far as everything else goes, I'm doing well.. feeling good, hungry-- always hungry. The stretching pains have gotten better, or at least are not as bad as they had been. The baby moves around a lot, especially when I want to lay down he/she decides it's a great time to move around!
I don't mind though, I love feeling it. I can't wait until Adam can feel it too. The baby's not quite big enough for that yet.

For those that have been asking, we set up a registry- it's not finished yet- we'll add more Wednesday once we know the sex of the baby, but for the most part besides clothes the registry is complete. It's at Target under either Adam or I and our last name.

Check back here on Wednesday for a picture of the ultrasound. :)

Half Way There!

I have reached the half way point in the pregnancy! 20 weeks!

The pictures above are my 20 week photos!

I have been having a lot of stretching pains (Round Ligament pain)- so the Dr. suggested I get a pregnancy belt. For a piece of elastic it's doing wonders! It's helping my back pains too!

The baby is becoming a lot more active, which I love because then I know he/she is doing ok in there!

12 more days until the ultrasound. Anyone want to put their guess in on the sex of the baby??

Adam really worked the last few days (I owe him a few days off now!) and got the house reorganized! The living room is all set up, and our bedroom is all done too. He built shelves in my closet, the baby's closet and his closet! And now the baby's room is all ready to be painted at the end of the month. The house looks great reorganized like this. Adam went down into the crawl space and brought all the cables/wires down there so we don't have cables all over. I really appreciate him doing this, I think we have really optimized our space having the house set up like this.

Poor Wrigley has had a hard time this past week with all the changes going on. She is doing ok now, but there were a few days where she was really confused as to what room was where. She has already claimed her spot on the new rug and spends most of her time dragging all her toys out there and just laying out there.
